Since your daughter has only ridden twice, the predictable power and the ability to train in 1st gear and to changing gears as she progresses is what the Honda 90 can provide.
The no shift automatics will not help her progress to a shifting bike later (250ex, 300ex, 400ex etc.......)
Plus a wider stance and a pysically larger overall size.
And they do hold their resale value!
When you ask the question " what is comparable to the Honda 90 " I think you already know what you want/need .

Completely stock 90k miles , minor non-motor mods, 5 seasons pulling my monster trailer through the Colorado mountains, Minnisota all over the midwest and a 4k mile trip to South Carolina this summer!
No problems here??????

We have 2 honda 90's that have been through 5 grandkids(oldest is now 13) and they are still going strong!
They are easy to maintain, very durable, and easy to ride.
Plus you have to shift , which will help them when they go to a bigger bike later!
Always remember, "you get what you pay for" !

Leaving Labor Day for a couple of days camping/riding at Hatfield/McCOY(WV.), then a few days camping at Charleston(SC.) then on to Coal Creek(TN.) to camp/ ride a few days and then on to Mena Ark. to camp/ride!
Oh boy, 2 weeks , can't wait!!!!
